We are looking for an Administrative Payroll Accounting Assistant. The position contributes to Myers & Sons success by performing various payroll and accounting functions relating to certified payroll, union costs, business licenses and job cost management. The ability to take ownership, complete a task with accuracy and communicate well is essential.


  • Compile and Submit Monthly Union Reports
  • Certified Payroll Reports
  • Perform Payroll functions for Joint Ventures
  • Backup Payroll Manager
  • Assist in Paying Payroll Taxes
  • Manage Company Credit Cards
  • Maintain Business Licenses


  • General knowledge of the construction field and accounting experience
  • General knowledge of payroll and unions
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Strong computer skills Required, LCP Tracker and/or Vista Viewpoint experience preferred
  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Intermediate Excel Preferred)
